In all, I would like both Ranked and Normal MM to merge. but I think we would have to have some type of reward or need to play MM over Custom (i.e. Ideally, if implemented, it would be awesome - and I would probably only play that mode (reminds me of CoH). I tried it for awhile, but it just took to long to get anything going. I know we got a taste of it on MoWAS and 2, but the population, as stated before, didn't support it. I would really like matchmaking to be utilized more. RED DEAD ONLINE CALL TO ARMS MATCHMAKING MODS
"What currently destroys and separates the community in my opinion is that everyone is playing games on different settings, downloadable map mods etc."

The online community in general for AS2 is sparse, adding yet another avenue for players to go down will simply just dilute the community further. But that is not the ONLY issue this game faces, let alone this hypothetical feature. It has a litany of issues that turn people off of it. The simple truth is matchmaking is not a popular feature. It one of the games greatest strengths but also an unfortunate weakness in some regards.

I have stated such several months ago on the AS2 forums. I do agree mods influence the ability to get matches going. "hey look guys! he had ranked matchmaking, now we have normal matchmaking!" - record sales ensue ( really?)ĭon't get me wrong, your suggestion isn't a bad one, it's just it is not a practical one.

Why would adding a redundant option make the community grow? I really strongly suggest DMS taking this option in consideration as it will unite the community more together and make gameplay more uniform. What currently destroys and separates the community in my opinion is that everyone is playing games on different settings, downloadable map mods etc. I see it as the following 3 options for players. I think this feature will make the community grow istead. Originally posted by LauBox:It is not about the community that needs to grow.
